ALEXIS BROWN

President

I am currently a senior majoring in Applied and Rescore Economics. I joined B&B in the fall of 2021 and I have loved every minute of it. I have grown up showing dairy cattle so this club has been a great way to continue my passion and expand it into other species.

MATTHEW SYROTIAK

Vice President and Treasurer

I am a junior Animal Science major with a focus in Extension / Agricultural Education. Prior to B&B I was very involved in FFA and 4-H, showing dairy goats at the local, state and national levels. My passion for animal agriculture gave me many amazing opportunities and friends.

SAVANAH BATTLES

Secretary

I’m a sophomore majoring in Animal Science with a focus in Meat Science. Before joining the club, I was involved in 4-H and FFA. I grew up showing my own flock of Border Leicester sheep and herd of Simmental beef cattle. I joined Block and Bridle my freshman year and I couldn't be happier about my decision. I’ve created so many friendships and got to explore other aspects of the livestock industry.

ALYSSA MARSELLI

Marshall

I’m a sophomore majoring in Animal Science. I grew up working with horses, including riding and showing. My favorite part of block and bridle is being able to gain knowledge on other species of livestock and learning how to judge those species.

REBECCA SYME

Fundraising Chair

I’m a sophomore majoring in Sustainable Plant and Soil Systems. I own a herd of shorthorn beef cattle and grew up showing beef and dairy. My favorite part of Block and Bridle is how I am able to explore and get exposure to other aspects of livestock.

ABIGAIL WILBER

Public Relations Chair

I'm a junior Animal Science major, planning to minor in Biotechnology. I grew up showing Brown Swiss, Holstein, and Milking Shorthorn dairy cattle (and dogs!) in 4-H and continue to show at the regional and national level.
My favorite part of Block and Bridle is learning about different aspects of agriculture and livestock species as I didn't grow up on a farm. I also love going on club trips and meeting new people with similar interests!
